4th of July

This years 4th of July was pretty lazy but enjoyable. The Riverton parade is always the night before and we meet a bunch of friends and caught a lot of candy and sweated even more (it was so hot!!). Luckily we brought and bought (from little kids selling it out of wagons for $.50 a bottle) plenty of water and Logan brought a squirt-bottle that kept us all cooled down a little.

The next day we hung out and nothing until the afternoon when we meet up with my mom and went to the booth and such in Sandy. The booths were lacking, but they had tons of those bug blowup slides and climbing thing for kids so Logan had a ball. His favorite was an obstical (sp?) course that ended under a giant gorilla. Again it was super hot. In fact the fire department were giving out icepacks to keep everyone cool.

That night we went to the riverton fireworks. We sat out side the Arctic Circle which rocked because you could see the fireworks perfect, there were a lot less people and we just ran inside and bought ice cream. I hope the below pictures tell the story better than I do.

This is one of the only clowns I have seen that wasn't creepy. The kids really liked her and she was super nice.

The fire department (I think) gave EVERY kids one of these plastic hats. These are all the fun kids that were hanging out with us. The Barths have Gavin, Garrett and Cassia (the dark haired children). The Palmers have Easton (the little boy by Logan) & Carter (not shown).

Logan keeping everyone cool (weather they wanted him to or not).

Barbra (my BFF) and Carter ( 3 months old).

Perfect 4th of July night.
