Logan's Toe

While in Lake Powell Logan was up on a hill looking for lizards and dropped a rock on his toe. His received a presser wound, which means that the rock caused so much pressure in his toe it basically popped.

We had to take him to the ER and they removed his toe-nail (it was barely hanging on), stitch the toe back together. Then they stitched the toe-nail back on to use as a natural band-aid.

Poor little man was just in so much pain and he was tough through it all.

Cleaned up at the hospital but no stitches yet. Waiting for x-rays too come back.

Not broken, took the toenail off to clean and Stitch it up. Three stitches on top and 3 under the nail.

All stitched up. His Frankenstein toe.

Everything is done and we are getting ready to leave the hospital. Nurse Bill was Awesome!

10 days later and the stitches are out!

Healing, but looking grosser every day.

11/2/10 The toe nail fell off (again)! A new nail is already growing. This is good news because we weren't sure if it would grow back at all.

Lake powell

We went to Lake Powell over the UEA Weekend. We went to Page and spent 3 days Swimming, skiing, hiking and fishing.

Aubrey started school

Aubrey started pre-school this year. She is going to challenger like Logan did and she is loving it. Her favorite thing is show-and-tell.

This is her on the first day of school. She was SO excited. She had been waiting along time for her turn to go to school.

In September they had westeren days at school. They got to dress up and put on a cute little program for all the parents. They for snack they got flap-jacks and roadted marshmallows over a fake fire.
