Grandma & Papa's house

This last weekend we went down to Castle Dale to visit the family. My mom and I took the kids for a walk and here are some great photos that we took. It was kinda cold so they both have my mom's hats on. My kids love it down there so much.

The end of Hockey Season

As most of you know we are avid hockey fans and this years regular season has ended. We have such a great time at the games and have meet so many wonderful friends. So here are some photos of those great friends. Logan is with Cindy, she always brings him Starbursts and holds him up so he can see when the crowd stands up to cheer. In the photo they are chewing Hubba-Bubba, so they both have a mouthful. Scott is with Steve, he and his wife Donna are fun to hang out with and as sweet as can be. We have even been lucky enough to hang out with them away from the games. The only bad part of summer is that there is no hockey. We miss it.

How Logan's mind works

Logan asked "Mom, what day is it?". I said "Tuesday". He says, "It can't be Tuesday, the sun is shining so it must be Sunday".

Aubrey's 1st hair trim

Aubrey got her first haircut (if you can even call it that). She had a small handful of hairs that were way longer than the rest and my mom trimmed them for me. I don't thin Aubrey even knew anything was going on. There was so little hair that in order to save them I had to put them on a piece of tape. Poor little girl is going to be bald until she goes to Kindergarten. That is OK, she is gorgeous anyway!!

Mountain Goats

A couple of weekends ago we went up to the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon to see the mountain goats. You had to use a scope to see them but they were huge and amazing. We had a really good time. It took Logan a while to figure out how to look through the scope. He would look and say that he seen it, so we would ask him a question like "What color was it?" and we would answer "blue" (white), "What was it doing?" he would say "playing" (sleeping). It was fun to listen to his answers. But he finally figured it out.

How Logan's mind works

Logan wants to know if cavity-bugs leave footprints.

Friends Forever

I adore my kids and the best thing ever has happened, they now adore each other. The other day Logan was running around and Aubrey started to follow him, so they made a game of it. It was so amazing to watch them interact with each other instead of competing with each other for my time and attention. Then Logan came running in to me and had had a life changing thought. He says to me "Mom, guess what Aubrey can be my friend". I was so happy that he no longer seen her as an annoyance, so I kissed him on the cheek and said ,"I know, I had her just for you." and with a smile off he ran to play some more. I just hope that he thinks of her as a gift and a friend forever.

Virgin Post

I hope that this blogg will keep everyone informed on the goings on in my family that make it so great.

Our family:

Scott is 34 and works for Mountain America Credit Union, where he is one of the top Loan Officers. He loves NASCAR, hockey, hunting, motorcycles, traveling and his kids.

Danyale, I am 31 and a stay at home mom (something I never thought I would be). I do get to do some graphic design on the side. I was a graphic designer for 7 years before we had kids. I love reading, camping, traveling, cooking, playing with my kids.

Logan is 3 1/2 and is all boy. He is rough and tuff and sweet and tender all at once. He LOVES hockey and thinks of nothing else at times. He is really smart and has a HUGE imagination. His best friend Leaf (imaginary) is only one of the invisible people that come over and play. Sometimes there is an entire team of imaginary friends that come over to play hockey, including a referee named spaghetti. He is a quick thinker and keeps us on our toes.

Aubrey is 10 months and is the sweetest thing I have every meet. She is happy 99% of the time. She is on the verge of walking, just not quite brave enough. She is learning sign language and currently knows drink, cheese and more. She has the biggest smile and melt her dads heart with it daily. She loves taking baths and playing with her brother's toys.
