Magic

Logan wants to know how our bananas turned chocolate?

Halloween decorations

We love Halloween at the Christensen house. Last year Logan was sad that our house wasn't decorated. So I have been collecting since November 1 last year. I think I did pretty good. We (the kids and I) had a blast putting it all up. Aubrey's favorite is Tigger and pooh and Logan loves the spider webs (being that he did them all).

Trouble

We have an on going dilemma at our house. Logan either thinks he is Aubrey's dad and tries to discipline her himself (which he gets in trouble for) or he is a major tattle-tale (which he gets in trouble for). We can't seem to find a middle ground. So after a day of him getting in trouble for both actions, I was in the other room doing something or other when in brings me in my camera (he loves to take pictures and usually does a pretty good job) and shows me the below photo of Aubrey getting in the garbage (one of her favorite pastimes) and says "I am not tattling, just see what she is doing your self". I almost died laughing. I am sure glad God gave him to me.

Cowboy day at school

Thursday was Cowboy day at Logan's school. He got to dress up as a cowboy. They did a cute little program where each class sang a darling western song/dance (Logan's class sang "I want to be a cowboy sweetheart") then they all did 2 circle dance. It was fun to watch. They had all made sheriff vests out of paper sacks. Logan said that later they roasted marshmallows over pretend fires and had "Flap Jacks" for snack. Then they learned all about cowboys and the wild west. Logan said it was his best day of school ever.

Logan being a "Bad" Cowboy.

Aubrey wanting to be like her brother (like always).

Day at the Farm

On Wednesday we went to play group at Wheeler Farm. The kids had a blast. It was a perfect day and the animals were all over the place. The sheep were eating hay right from the kids hands and the ponies like the leafs. We were in the little store buying tickets for the wagon ride and a large gentleman came and was in line between me and one of my friends. We didn't think anything about it but when he got done paying he turned to us and says "I am the farmer around these part and I want to give these candy bars to these great kids". Where he gave all our kids a candy bar. I loved it because a guy that would normally be intimating to kids was very kind to them. What an awesome guy. We then rode the wagon and sang "Old McDonald had a farm the whole time, I am sure annoying everyone else on the wagon. Then the kids were having stick races under the little bridges. It was a great day at the farm.

Bubbles, Bubbles everywhere

So I decided to add bubbles to the bath tub the other night and the kids freaked out (It has been along time since I have done this and never while Aubrey has been here). They had so much fun. They thought they were in heaven. They used the bubbles to make beards, hair, cloths and food. Here are some fun pictures. I swear the one of Logan is how he is going to look as an adult.
